JN-AN-1116 Jenie Controlled Network Membership
This Application Note demonstrates how to control the members of a Jenie/JenNet network in the following ways:
- The Coordinator node only allows new nodes into the network for a brief period of time following a button press. Once nodes have been authorised, they are allowed to re-join at any time.
- Child nodes having joined a network will always re-join the same network, even when there are other networks in range that they could join.
These features allow multiple networks running the same application to exist within range of each other while preventing nodes moving between those networks.
This Application Note makes use of advanced functions provided by the JenNet API layer that sits below the Jenie API layer normally used for writing Jenie/JenNet applications.
