JN-AN-1006 Packet Error Rate (PER) testing
This Application Note illustrates Packet Error Rate (PER) testing using a Jennic JN5148 or JN5139 evaluation kit. PER testing can be used to evaluate the communication range achievable in different operating environments. Packets are sent from one device to another, and the number of failed packets is assessed and displayed.
NOTE: In order to build this application for the JN5139 you must first download and install the Jennic Production Test API (JN-SW-4022). However this is not required for the JN5148.
